# List entities

`GET /v1/entities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.particle.pro`
- URL: `https://api.particle.pro/v1/entities`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

List knowledge graph entities (people, organizations, places) across all podcast content. Defaults to the most frequently appearing entities, ranked by the number of distinct podcast episodes featuring them. Filter by podcast slug or ID, or fetch specific entities with `ids`. To search by name, use GET /v1/entities/search.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer: Results per page
- `cursor` string: Opaque pagination cursor from previous response
- `ids` string[], nullable: Bulk multi-get: one or more entity slugs (e.g. 'sam-altman', 'apple') or IDs, comma-separated (max 100). When set, returns exactly those entities and the other filters (type, podcast_id) and pagination are ignored. Refs that don't resolve are omitted from the response.
- `podcast_id` string: Podcast slug (e.g., 'all-in'), internal ID, or numeric iTunes ID. Filter to entities a specific podcast covers, ranked by how many of its latest 500 episodes mention them (ad reads and the show's own hosts excluded).
- `type` string: Filter to an entity category. See GET /v1/entities/types for the available slugs (e.g. 'person', 'company', 'movie', 'sports-team').

## Other responses

- `402`: Payment Required. Read error_code. payment_required is the x402 path: either a keyless request being challenged — pay $0.01 in USDC per request (requirements in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header) or send a pp_ API key — or a supplied payment that failed settlement (details in the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header; retry the same signature before signing a new one). See https://docs.particle.pro/x402. Any other code means the credential was accepted but does not cover this request (a plan or session gate such as premium_required or paid_plan_confirmation_required); its resolve says how to obtain access, and no payment header is sent.
- `default`: Error
