# Copy documents to another project

`POST /projects/{project_id}/documents/copy/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parsewise.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.parsewise.ai/api/v1/projects/{project_id}/documents/copy/`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Copy selected processed documents to another live project.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- V1DocumentCopyRequestRequest
  - `target_project_id` string, uuid, required: Destination project UUID. The project must be live and different from the source project.
  - `document_ids` string[], required: Processed source document UUIDs to copy.

## Response `201`

- V1DocumentCopyResponse
  - `copied_count` integer, required: Number of documents copied.
  - `document_id_mappings` V1DocumentCopyIdMapping[], required: Mapping from each source document UUID to its copied document UUID.
    - `source_document_id` string, uuid, required: UUID of the original document in the source project.
    - `copied_document_id` string, uuid, required: UUID assigned to the copied document in the destination project.
