# Delete an agent

`DELETE /projects/{project_id}/agents/{agent_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parsewise.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.parsewise.ai/api/v1/projects/{project_id}/agents/{agent_id}/`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Permanently delete an agent and all extraction results derived from it. Returns `204` on success. Returns `404` if the agent does not exist on this project. Returns `409` if other agents depend on it (derived agents that reference it, or agents using a dimension whose values it finds); edit or delete those agents first.
