# Get My Interest

`GET /api/roles/{role_id}/interest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parlel.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.parlel.com/api/roles/{role_id}/interest`
- Auth: none declared

Whether the caller has shown interest in this role.

Its own endpoint rather than a field on ``GET /api/public/roles/{id}``, and
the reason is the cache. That response is anonymous and shared-cacheable --
identical bytes for every reader, which is what makes a role page cheap. One
per-viewer boolean in it would force ``private, no-store`` on the whole
payload and turn every visit into an origin hit. So the expensive, shared,
crawlable half stays shared, and the one bit that differs per person is a
second small request that only a signed-in reader ever makes.

Answers for a CLOSED role too, unlike the write paths: a candidate looking at
a role that closed should still be told they had put their hand up.

## Path parameters
