# Withdraw Interest

`DELETE /api/roles/{role_id}/interest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parlel.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.parlel.com/api/roles/{role_id}/interest`
- Auth: none declared

Take your hand back down. Idempotent, and it deletes rather than tombstones.

Interest is a live signal: what a company sees has to be the people who want
the job now, not everybody who ever did. See ``models.RoleInterest``.

No role lookup and no status check. Withdrawing from a role that has since
closed, or whose company has since gone private, must always work -- refusing
would strand somebody in a list they cannot leave, which is the one direction
this endpoint must never fail in.

## Path parameters

- `role_id` string, required

## Headers

- `authorization` string, nullable

## Response `204`

Successful Response

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
