# Send Work Code

`POST /api/profile/work-email/send`

Email a six-digit code to a work address.

422 for a malformed address or a consumer mailbox; 409 if the profile has no
company yet (there is nothing to verify AGAINST); 429 inside the resend
cooldown; 502 if the mail did not go out. The code is stored hashed and a new
send replaces any pending one.
