# Update Post

`PATCH /api/posts/{post_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parlel.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.parlel.com/api/posts/{post_id}`
- Auth: none declared

Fix a typo.

``updated_at`` moves and ``created_at` does not, which is what makes the card
say "edited" while keeping its place in the timeline. Bumping the sort date on
an edit would drag a two-month-old post to the top of a stream somebody is
reading, which is the behaviour that makes edited posts feel like a trick.
