# Live waits for a park

`GET /v1/parks/{park}/waits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.parkypass.com`
- URL: `https://api.parkypass.com/v1/parks/{park}/waits`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-Parky-Key`

Rides, walk-through attractions and shows with their posted standby wait, status, Single Rider wait and Lightning Lane return window, from one shared snapshot refreshed at most every 5 seconds. Queued rides (`type: "ride"`) are always listed, with status `unavailable` and null waits when no live value is reported. Walk-through attractions (`experience`), shows (`show`) and character meets (`meet`) are listed only while reported. When the park has no current live data, `data_status` is `unavailable`. Posted waits typically change every few minutes; to follow changes, use the stream instead of polling. Returns 403 rights_unavailable when the server has provider-derived data disabled.

    - `name` string, required
    - `type` 'ride' | 'experience' | 'show' | 'meet', required: `ride`: a queued ride, always listed. `experience`: a walk-through or open attraction (Swiss Family Treehouse, Walt Disney World Railroad). `show`: a show the feed posts a wait for (Mickey's PhilharMagic). `meet`: a character meet (Meet Mickey at Town Square Theater); filter these out to show rides and shows only.
    - `status` 'OPERATING' | 'DOWN' | 'CLOSED' | 'REFURBISHMENT' | 'UNKNOWN' | 'unavailable', required: Operator status; `unavailable` means no live value is reported for this ride.

  - `docs_url` string, uri, required: Developer documentation.
  - `attribution` Attribution, required: Required credit. Wherever Parky data is shown, display `text` with a visible link to `url`; the link must stay visible.
