# Reject workflow task

`POST /workflow_tasks/reject`

## Request

Reject a workflow or approval task with task_uuid (or task_id / uuid) and reason (required, audit trail; 400 REASON_REQUIRED without it). A waiting agent workflow continues with the rejection and the requested tool call is not executed...

## Response `200`

Success

- SuccessEnvelope: Success envelope. Payload fields are endpoint-specific (top-level fields, `result`/`job_result` for jobs, `data` on some account endpoints).
