# Compare two document versions

`GET /documents/document-version-compare`

## Request

Compare a version (pofid) with its predecessor (default) or with compare_to_pofid (same document line). Returns metadata deltas (size, pages, type, content_identical), best-effort OCR text statistics (word-level similarity, top added...

Success

- SuccessEnvelope: Success envelope. Payload fields are endpoint-specific (top-level fields, `result`/`job_result` for jobs, `data` on some account endpoints).
