# Create Accounts

`POST /accounting/accounts`

Create accounts in any supported Accounting software

  - `description` string, nullable — A description of the account
  - `classification` string, nullable — The classification of the account
  - `type` string, nullable — The type of the account
  - `status` string, nullable — The status of the account
  - `current_balance` number, nullable — The current balance of the account
  - `currency` string, nullable — The currency of the account
  - `account_number` string, nullable — The account number
  - `parent_account` string, nullable — The UUID of the parent account
  - `company_info_id` string, nullable — The UUID of the associated company info
  - `field_mappings` object, nullable — The custom field mappings of the object between the remote 3rd party & Panora
