# Initiate Multipart Upload

`POST /upload-multipart/init`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v2.pandavideo.com.br/shorts`
- URL: `https://api-v2.pandavideo.com.br/shorts/upload-multipart/init`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Initiates a multipart upload session for large video files. After initiating, use `/upload-multipart/parts` to get presigned URLs for each part, then `/upload-multipart/complete` to finalize.

## Request body

- object
  - `filename` string, required: Original filename of the video (e.g. `large-video.mp4`).
  - `content_type` string, required: MIME type of the video file (e.g. `video/mp4`).

## Response `200`

200

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `upload_id` string: Multipart upload ID. Use this in subsequent multipart requests.
  - `s3_key` string: S3 key for the file. Use this in subsequent multipart requests.
  - `expires_in` number: Expiration time in seconds.
