# Request Segment Download

`POST /segments/{segment_id}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v2.pandavideo.com.br/shorts`
- URL: `https://api-v2.pandavideo.com.br/shorts/segments/{segment_id}/download`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Requests the HD rendering and download of a segment. If the HD version is already available, returns the download URL immediately. Otherwise, queues the rendering job and returns a `downloading` status.

## Path parameters

- `segment_id` string, required

## Response `200`

200

- object
  - `status` 'ready' | 'downloading': `ready` if the HD version is available, `downloading` if rendering was queued.
  - `download_url` string: Signed URL to download the HD segment. Present when `status` is `ready`.
  - `estimated_time` number: Estimated rendering time in seconds. Present when `status` is `downloading`.
