# Get User Details by ID

`GET /public/v1/users/{user_id}`

## Request

Get detailed information about a specific user by their ID, including contact information, license type, and workspace roles.

You must be an organization admin to get user details.

## Path parameters

- `user_id` string, required

## Response `200`

User details.

- GetUserResponse
  - `user_id` string: A unique identifier of the user in the organization.
  - `email` string: A user's email address.
  - `first_name` string: A user's first name.
  - `last_name` string: A user's last name.
  - `phone_number` string: A user's phone number.
  - `license` string: A user's license in the organization.
  - `is_organization_owner` boolean: Whether the user is the owner of the organization.
  - `workspaces` object[]
    - `role` 'Admin' | 'Manager' | 'Member' | 'Collaborator': Role for a member.
    - `workspace_id` string: A user's workspace.
    - `membership_id` string: A user's membership id in workspace.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication error
- `403`: Permission error
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Too Many Requests
