# \[Beta\] Update Workspace

`PATCH /public/beta/workspaces/{workspace_id}`

Update a workspace's name and branding.

- You need to be an Org Admin to update a workspace.

## Path parameters

- `workspace_id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateWorkspaceRequest: Request payload to update a workspace. All fields are optional — omit a field to keep its current value. Nullable fields accept `null` to clear the current value.
  - `name` string: A new name for the workspace.
  - `icon_url` string, uri, nullable: Workspace icon displayed in the application; not visible to your customers. Icon should have square proportions. The URL must be publicly reachable over HTTPS. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Max size: 5 MB.
  - `branding` WorkspaceBranding: Customer-facing branding shown to recipients on the document signing page and in branded emails and templates.
    - `logo_url` string, uri, nullable: Logo shown to recipients. The URL must be publicly reachable over HTTPS. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Max size: 5 MB.
    - `accent_color` string, nullable: Accent color as a 6-digit HEX value (with leading `#`). Sets the main branded template color and email button color.

OK

- UpdateWorkspaceResponse: Workspace state returned after a successful update.
  - `id` string: Workspace id.
  - `name` string: Current workspace name.
  - `branding` WorkspaceBranding: Customer-facing branding shown to recipients on the document signing page and in branded emails and templates.
    - `logo_url` string, uri, nullable: Logo shown to recipients. The URL must be publicly reachable over HTTPS. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Max size: 5 MB.
    - `accent_color` string, nullable: Accent color as a 6-digit HEX value (with leading `#`). Sets the main branded template color and email button color.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication error
- `403`: Permission error
- `404`: Not found
