# Start a headless signup

`POST /signup`

Start a headless signup: sends a 6-digit verification code to the given work email. No account is created until the code is verified.

## Request body

- object
  - `email` string, email, required: Email address that will own the new account. A verification code is sent to this inbox; the address becomes the organization admin.
  - `organization_name` string, required
  - `pricing_type` 'free' | 'it_teams' | 'msp': Self-serve plan to provision. Only honored when PLG is enabled; otherwise the default plan is used.
  - `attribution_id` string, uuid: Opaque first-party journey id from palisade.email. Used only for acquisition attribution.
