# List templates

`GET /templates`

Get a list of all the template on an account

Scoped OAuth requires: `templates.read`

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer
- `total` boolean
- `query` string
- `template_type` string
- `sort_by` 'name' | 'name:asc' | 'name:desc' | 'created_at' | 'created_at:asc' | 'created_at:desc'

## Response `200`

A paginated array of templates.

- object
  - `offset` integer — Echoes offset pagination property.
  - `limit` integer — Echoes limit pagination property.
  - `more` boolean — Indicates if there are additional records to return
  - `total` integer, nullable — The total number of records matching the given query.
  - `templates` Template[], required — unresolved $ref

## Other responses

- `400` — Caller provided invalid arguments. Please review the response for error details. Retrying with the same arguments will *not* work.
- `402` — Account does not have the abilities to perform the action. Please review the response for the required abilities. You can also use the [Abilities API](#resource_Abilities) to determine what features are available to your account.
- `403` — Caller is not authorized to view the requested resource. While your authentication is valid, the authenticated user or token does not have permission to perform this action.
- `500` — Internal Server Error the PagerDuty server experienced an error.
