# Resolve a thread

`POST /api/sites/{slug}/comments/{commentId}/resolve`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com`
- URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com/api/sites/{slug}/comments/{commentId}/resolve`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves it open -> resolved and records you as the resolver. Any commenter may resolve any thread, not only its author.

## Path parameters

- `slug` string, required
- `commentId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The resolved comment.

## Other responses

- `404`: No such comment on this site.
