# Download one file of a multi-file site

`GET /api/sites/{slug}/assets/{path}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com`
- URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com/api/sites/{slug}/assets/{path}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The path after `/assets/` is the file's path relative to the version root, so it may contain slashes: `/api/sites/my-site/assets/styles/main.css`. Sent as an attachment, like the entrypoint. Viewer role or better; public sites serve without a token.

- `path` string, required

## Response `200`

The file, typed by its extension.

## Other responses

- `404`: No such site, no access to it, or no such file in the current version.
