# Keep a free link

`POST /api/free-links/{slug}/claim`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com`
- URL: `https://api.pagegoat.com/api/free-links/{slug}/claim`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves a free link into the caller's account at the same address. It stops expiring and becomes an ordinary site. Needs the claim token the link was made with, and a plan that can take one more site.

## Path parameters

- `slug` string, required

## Request body

- ClaimFreeLinkRequest
  - `claimToken` string, required: The one-time token returned when the free link was made.

## Response `200`

The site, now the caller's.

## Other responses

- `402`: No paid plan, the site cap, or the storage quota.
- `404`: No such free link, it expired, or the token is wrong.
- `409`: Already kept.
- `451`: Suspended.
