# Get checkout URL settings

`GET /settings/checkout-url`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com`
- URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com/settings/checkout-url`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the checkout URL settings for your account.

Includes your default payment link (`default_url`), which is the URL that Paddle opens when a checkout is created without a URL of its own.

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

  - `data` CheckoutUrl, required: Represents the checkout URL settings for your account.
    - `default_url` string, uri, nullable, required: URL that Paddle opens when a checkout is created without a URL of its own. `null` until set. Must use `https`. In live accounts, its domain must also be an approved checkout domain for your account. Paddle appends `?_ptxn=` and the transaction ID to this URL. The page must have Paddle.js set up to read it and open the checkout.
  - `meta` Meta, required: Information about this response.
    - `request_id` string, required: Unique ID for the request relating to this response. Provide this when contacting Paddle support about a specific request.
