# Get checkout recovery settings

`GET /settings/checkout-recovery`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com`
- URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com/settings/checkout-recovery`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the checkout recovery settings for your account.

These control whether Paddle emails customers who abandon a checkout, and the discount that the email offers.

    - `enabled` boolean, required: Whether Paddle emails customers who abandon a checkout.
    - `discount` CheckoutRecoveryDiscount, required: Discount offered in a checkout recovery email.
      - `type` 'percentage', required: Kind of discount offered in a checkout recovery email.
      - `amount` string, required: Percentage taken off the transaction total, as a string containing a whole number from `1` to `100`. `"10"` means 10%.
  - `meta` Meta, required: Information about this response.
    - `request_id` string, required: Unique ID for the request relating to this response. Provide this when contacting Paddle support about a specific request.
