# Get chargeback metrics

`GET /metrics/chargebacks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com`
- URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com/metrics/chargebacks`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns timeseries data for chargebacks in a given date range. Trends have a daily granularity.
Total number of chargebacks received for the period. Does not include pre-chargeback alerts or chargeback reversals.

When `to` and `from` are the same, returns an empty timeseries.

## Query parameters

- `from` string, date, required
- `to` string, date, required

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

  - `data` MetricsTimeseriesChargebacks, required: Chargeback metrics timeseries with count for each datapoint.
    - `timeseries` MetricsTimeseriesChargebacksDatapoint[], required: Array of datapoints. Empty if `to` and `from` are the same.
      - `timestamp` string, date-time, required: RFC 3339 datetime string.
      - `count` integer, required: Number of chargebacks for this datapoint.
    - `starts_at` string, date-time, required: RFC 3339 datetime string.
    - `ends_at` string, date-time, required: RFC 3339 datetime string.
    - `interval` 'day', required: Time granularity for the datapoints.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: RFC 3339 datetime string of when this entity was updated. Set automatically by Paddle.
  - `meta` Meta, required: Information about this response.
    - `request_id` string, required: Unique ID for the request relating to this response. Provide this when contacting Paddle support about a specific request.
