# List Paddle currencies

`GET /currencies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com`
- URL: `https://sandbox-api.paddle.com/currencies`
- Auth: none required

Returns a list of currencies that Paddle supports, including the number of decimal places
used and the minimum amount that Paddle can process.

The response is not paginated.

    - `name` string, required: Full name of the currency.
    - `decimal_places` integer, required: The number of decimal places in the common notation of the currency.
    - `can_be_balance` boolean, required: Whether you can hold your balance in this currency. You can set your balance currency in the dashboard.
    - `applicable_countries` CountryCodeSupported[], required: Countries where this currency is used for automatic price conversion. Only includes countries that Paddle supports sales to. You can set up automatic currency conversion in the dashboard.
    - `minimum_payment_amount` string, required: Minimum charge for this currency in the lowest denomination for this currency, for example 10 USD = 1000 (cents). Payment can't be attempted for a transaction or checkout below this amount.
  - `meta` Meta, required: Information about this response.
    - `request_id` string, required: Unique ID for the request relating to this response. Provide this when contacting Paddle support about a specific request.
