# Add a member to pool

`POST /participant-pools/{participantPoolId}/members`

Add a new member to the participant pool with specified roles

## Request body

- object
  - `publicId` string, required: Public identifier of the member to add
  - `roles` ParticipantPoolMemberRoleEnum[], required: Roles to assign to the member

## Response `201`

Member added successfully

- ParticipantPoolMember: A member of a participant pool with their associated role and metadata
  - `publicId` string, required: Public identifier of the pool member
  - `createdAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the member was added to the pool
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the member was last updated
  - `roles` ParticipantPoolMemberRoleEnum[], required: Roles assigned to this member in the pool
  - `name` string: Name of the member
  - `email` string: Email of the member
