# Accept pool invitation

`POST /participant-pools/{participantPoolId}/invitations/{id}/accept`

## Request

- URL: `https://rest.api.pactima.com/v1/participant-pools/{participantPoolId}/invitations/{id}/accept`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Accept an invitation to join the participant pool. The accepting user will become a member with the specified roles. Only a PENDING invitation can be accepted; accepting a DECLINED invitation is rejected. The invitation row is removed on acceptance.

## Request body

- object
  - `token` string, required: Secret token used to validate the invitation

## Response `200`

Invitation accepted successfully. User is now a member of the pool.

- ParticipantPoolMember: A member of a participant pool with their associated role and metadata
  - `publicId` string, required: Public identifier of the pool member
  - `createdAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the member was added to the pool
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time: Timestamp when the member was last updated
  - `roles` ParticipantPoolMemberRoleEnum[], required: Roles assigned to this member in the pool
  - `name` string: Name of the member
  - `email` string: Email of the member
