# Reset the authentication of the eNotary package

`POST /e-notary-packages/{eNotaryPackageId}/actions/reset-authentication`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://rest.api.pactima.com/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Cannot reset the authentication if the respective eSignature package is in a terminal status (i.e. COMPLETED, DECLINED, CANCELED) or Locked status (LOCKED_FOR_REVIEW)

- `400`: Bad request -- the eSignature package is in a terminal status (COMPLETED, DECLINED, CANCELLED) or a Locked status (LOCKED_FOR_REVIEW), so authentication cannot be reset.
