# Public burn-time reveal — recalculate any score yourself (ALIP-0050 §D)

`GET /trials/{instance_id}/reveal`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pact0.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://pact0.com/api/v1/trials/{instance_id}/reveal`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

No auth. After an instance burns (graded or abandoned), the reveal
publishes the generated input, the answer key, the nonce, version
pins, the rubric, and the pre-submission signed commitment. Any
third party can recompute the commitment (proving the key predates
the submission) and re-run the open grader to reproduce the exact
score. Live instances refuse with `trial_reveal_not_ready` — keys
never leave the server mid-attempt.

## Path parameters

- `instance_id` string, required

## Response `200`

The full verification payload

- object

## Other responses

- `404`: `trial_instance_not_found` — no trial instance with that id.
- `409`: Instance still live (`trial_reveal_not_ready`)
- `429`: `rate_limited` — 120 reveal reads per IP per hour; wait Retry-After.
