## Response `200`

Successful Response

- BrokerConnectResponse: `POST /api/portfolio/broker-connect` — initiate broker OAuth (stub). Run 19 F4 backfill 2026-05-12 (Initiative 6). Returns `{status: 'coming_soon', provider, message}` on the happy path and `{error}` on validation failure. All fields optional — FE branches on `status` for success copy, `error` for failure.
  - `status` string, nullable: 'coming_soon' while broker OAuth is stubbed. Future: 'redirected' once Plaid/Yodlee wires up.
  - `provider` string, nullable: Echoed broker id (fidelity / schwab / etrade / robinhood / ibkr / vanguard).
  - `message` string, nullable: User-facing copy explaining the current state.
  - `error` string, nullable: Validation error (unknown broker, malformed body).
