# Auth Verify Email

`GET /api/auth/verify-email`

## Request

Verify an email address via a one-time token sent during registration.

Looks up the user by the token, checks it has not expired, marks the
account as verified, clears the token, and redirects to the
`next` path (if same-origin) or `/` otherwise. Append `?auth=verified
&walkthrough=1` so the dashboard can trigger the guided tour and the
pricing/features pages can show their "Welcome, you're signed in" state.
