# Update Data Store Field

`PATCH /v1/data-discovery/data-stores/{dataStoreId}/fields/{fieldId}`

Updates a single Data Store Field by ID.  Note that this allows for a partial update, not all fields are required.

  - `path` string, nullable
  - `classification` string, nullable: This field should be capitalized
