# Set Thinking

`PUT /optimisation/tasks/{task_id}/thinking`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.os3robotics.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Pick thinking on or off for the task's specialist in the workspace, or go back to OS3's
choice (null): an owner or admin, signed in; a pick only once both modes of the specialist
served now were measured (409 not_measured).

## Request body

- ThinkingIn: The task's specialist served with thinking on (true) or off (false) in the workspace; null goes back to OS3's choice (the release gate's).
