# Set Mandate

`PUT /optimisation/tasks/{task_id}/mandate`

Set the task's mandate for OS3's optimizer agent in the workspace: an owner or admin. It
applies from the task's next optimisation cycle.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- TaskMandate: A task's mandate for OS3's optimizer agent in a workspace. `version`: null until it is first set (these are then the defaults). `claim`: what a released candidate may be called, `same_quality` (cheaper at the same verified quality), `economy` (cheaper, keeping at least `keep` of the current model's quality: the task's quality setting below 100%) or `improvement`.
