# Translate Conversation Endpoint

`POST /v1/conversation/{lead_id}/translations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://client.api.prod.orsay.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://client.api.prod.orsay.ai/v1/conversation/{lead_id}/translations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Translate messages of a conversation for the user reading it.

Only called when a user turns the translation on. Messages already
translated are served from the cache; the others are translated once and cached.

## Path parameters

- `lead_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- TranslateConversationRequest
  - `TargetLanguage` string, required
  - `Messages` TranslationMessage[], required
    - `Text` string, required
    - `Inbound` boolean, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- TranslateConversationResponse
  - `LeadLanguage` string, nullable
  - `Translations` MessageTranslation[], required
    - `Text` string, required
    - `Translation` string, required

- `422`: Validation Error
