# Update an audit log destination

`PATCH /v3/audit-log-destinations/{destination_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://my.orq.ai`
- URL: `https://my.orq.ai/v3/audit-log-destinations/{destination_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Partially updates a destination. Set `status` to `AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_PAUSED` to stop deliveries while retaining the backlog, and back to `AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_ACTIVE` to drain it. The URL can only change while the destination is paused.

  - `display_name` string: Optional. New destination name.
  - `description` string: Optional. New description. An empty string clears it.
  - `url` string: Optional. New HTTPS endpoint. Accepted only while the destination is paused.
  - `status` 'AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_ACTIVE' | 'AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_PAUSED'

    - `status` 'AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_ACTIVE' | 'AUDIT_LOG_DESTINATION_STATUS_PAUSED', required
    - `signing_secret_hint` string: Last four characters of the current signing secret, to tell rotations apart.
    - `secret_rotated_at` string, date-time: Time the current signing secret was issued.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
    - `created_by_id` string
    - `updated_by_id` string
