# Create folder

`POST /v2/file-systems/{file_system_key}/folders`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://my.orq.ai`
- URL: `https://my.orq.ai/v2/file-systems/{file_system_key}/folders`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a folder and every missing parent. Succeeds on a folder that already exists.

## Path parameters

- `file_system_key` string, required

## Request body

- CreateFileSystemFolderRequest
  - `path` string, required: Folder to create, relative to the file system root

## Response `201`

Folder successfully created.

  - `path` string, required

## Other responses

- `404`: File system not found.
