# Duplicate an Evaluator

`POST /v2/evaluators/{id}/duplicate`

## Request

Create a copy of an evaluator under a new key.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- DuplicateEvaluatorRequest: Keys are validated by the service; the schema does not constrain the key format.
  - `key` string
  - `description` string: Presence-sensitive: an explicit "" overrides the copied description, an absent field keeps the source evaluator's own.
