# POST /v1/audiences/{id}/generate-twins

`POST /v1/audiences/{id}/generate-twins`

## Request

Run twin generation on an existing pending audience row owned by your organization. Optional `size` (≤100) caps the audience and bills 1 answer per twin found, on success only; the balance must cover `size` answers upfront (402 otherwise). Retrying is safe: a completed audience returns its twins with `charged: 0`.

  - `size` integer: Optional. Caps the audience at this many twins and bills 1 answer per twin found, on success only. The organization's balance must cover `size` answers upfront. Omit for an unsized, free build (up to 200 twins).

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Missing or invalid API token
- `402`: Payment Required - Insufficient credits balance
- `403`: Forbidden - Organization lacks required permission
- `500`: Internal server error
- `503`: Service Unavailable - Service configuration issue (e.g. empty public-network registry)
