# Ask Orgo’s support agent a question about using Orgo

`POST /api/v1/support/ask`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.orgo.ai`
- URL: `https://www.orgo.ai/api/v1/support/ask`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

Orgo’s support agent, for programs such as coding agents setting Orgo up: it answers from Orgo’s docs, pricing and public pages (and the docs of Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Claude Code and Codex) as markdown, with full URLs and copyable commands. Send `question`, or a conversation as `messages`; to follow up, send back the answer’s `messages` with the next `question`. Nothing is stored.

With an API key it also reads that account’s plan, billing status and computers (never keys, secrets, files or screens), and can hand the conversation to Orgo’s team, who reply to the account’s email (`handoff`). Without one it answers from the docs. It changes nothing. 30 questions an hour per account; 15 an hour per address without a key.

With a key, Orgo pays for 150,000 tokens a day per account (input, output and cache writes; resets at 00:00 UTC), then each answer comes out of the account’s credits at the usual AI rate. `allowance` says where it stands (also `GET /api/v1/support/allowance`); out of free tokens and credits is a `402`. The key’s own account pays, never another account. A key held to one workspace sees only that workspace’s computers and can’t hand off.

## Request body

- object
  - `question` string: The question. Added after `messages` when both are sent.
  - `messages` object[]: The conversation so far, oldest first, ending on the user’s turn unless `question` is sent. The last 12 turns are read.
    - `role` 'user' | 'assistant', required
    - `content` string, required

## Response `200`

The answer.

- object
  - `answer` string, required: Markdown: full URLs, code in fenced blocks with their language.
  - `links` object[], required: The pages the answer points to, in order.
    - `title` string
    - `url` string
  - `handoff` object, nullable, required: Set when the agent handed the conversation to Orgo’s team, who reply to `email`.
    - `status` 'sent'
    - `email` string
  - `allowance` SupportAllowance, required
    - `free_daily` integer, required: Free support tokens a day: input, output and cache writes (cache reads are free).
    - `free_left` integer, required: Free tokens left today.
    - `paying` boolean, required: Today’s free tokens are used: answers come out of the account’s credits. Never true for an account that isn’t charged (enterprise).
    - `blocked` boolean, required: Paying, and the credits can’t take another question (it would be a 402).
    - `resets_at` string, date-time, required: When the free tokens come back (the next 00:00 UTC).
  - `messages` object[], required: The conversation including this answer: send it back with the next `question`.
    - `role` string
    - `content` string

## Other responses

- `400`: No question (`question_required`, `invalid_request`).
- `401`: A key was sent and is not valid.
- `402`: Today’s free tokens are used and the credits can’t pay (`INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS`), or a managed account is at its monthly AI limit (`ACCOUNT_AI_LIMIT`). Add credits, or wait for `allowance.resets_at`.
- `429`: Too many questions this hour (Retry-After says when), or two already in flight for this account (`one_at_a_time`): wait for an answer.
- `502`: The agent didn’t answer (`agent_failed`). Try again, or email contact@orgo.ai.
- `503`: The agent is unavailable here.
