# Remove an app (it is stopped, and its files and log are removed)

`DELETE /api/computers/{id}/services/{serviceId}`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `serviceId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

{ deleted: true, apply }: apply.state "pending" when the computer is not running; it is removed there when it next runs.

    - `state` 'applied' | 'pending' | 'failed', required: pending: applied when the computer next runs, or on Orgo’s next try.
    - `error` string

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found on this computer.
- `409`: A deploy’s app (MANAGED_BY_DEPLOY).
- `429`: Over one of the account's rate limits (rate_limited): `limit` names it, `retry_after` and Retry-After say how many seconds to wait. Limits are per account (the workspace owner when the request acts on a computer or a workspace) and set by its plan (x-rate-limits).
