# The account’s limits: workspaces, and every rate limit it is held to

`GET /api/account/limits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.orgo.ai`
- URL: `https://www.orgo.ai/api/account/limits`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Your own account’s numbers, as the rate limiter reads them. workspaces ({ used, max }: the workspaces it owns, at most 9999); rate_limits (every limit by name, as x-rate-limits names them, with the account’s own numbers in place of its plan’s); rate_limit_source (override when any number is the account’s own, else plan, bops_plan or pay_from_credits); plan_group; unlimited (true for an account that is never rate limited); monthly_limit (always null: there are no monthly limits).

## Response `200`

workspaces, rate_limits, rate_limit_source, plan_group, unlimited and monthly_limit.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthenticated.
- `429`: Over one of the account's rate limits (rate_limited): `limit` names it, `retry_after` and Retry-After say how many seconds to wait. Limits are per account (the workspace owner when the request acts on a computer or a workspace) and set by its plan (x-rate-limits).
