# Create a new sheet

`POST /sheets`

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Sheet name
  - `description` string
  - `templateName` string: Template to base the sheet on
  - `includeTestData` boolean: Include sample data from the template

## Response `200`

Created sheet wrapped in data envelope

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `409`: Resource already exists
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (15 requests/sec per IP). Retry after the specified delay.
