# AI Recommendation Index — which categories have an archive

`GET /api/index/archive-manifest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.orbator.io`
- URL: `https://api.orbator.io/api/index/archive-manifest`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Every published category with at least one archived snapshot, with its snapshot count and its earliest/latest snapshot dates. Powers honest lastmod dates for the archive pages and lets a client discover the archive surface in one request instead of probing per category.

## Response `200`

Categories with an archive, each with snapshot_count and date bounds

## Other responses

- `429`: Hourly quota exceeded for the current tier. Retry after the Retry-After header.
