# Congress Ingest

`POST /v1/admin/congress/ingest`

Trigger a congress-data ingest (House PTR PDFs + Senate eFD) into our
Postgres. Default: BACKGROUND (returns immediately; poll /v1/congress/stats).
``wait=true`` runs it synchronously and returns the counts (keep the scope
small so it finishes within the request window). Admin only.

- `max_house_pdfs` integer
- `max_senate_ptrs` integer
- `do_house` boolean
- `do_senate` boolean
- `wait` boolean: Run synchronously and return the counts
