# Update Player Display Name

`PUT /player-profiles/brand/{brandId}/player/{playerId}/name`

Updates the player's display name. Names must be unique within a tenant.

- `brandId` string, uuid, required
- `playerId` string, required

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: New display name. 1 to 50 characters.

## Response `200`

Name updated. Empty body.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or parameters.
- `404`: Resource not found (brand, player, mission, leaderboard, etc.).
- `409`: Name is already taken by another player in the same tenant.
