# List overlay brands

`GET /templates/overlay/brand-lookups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api5.optimove.net/content/v1`
- URL: `https://api5.optimove.net/content/v1/templates/overlay/brand-lookups`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Returns the brands that overlay templates can be assigned to. Use their `brandId` in `brandSettings`.

## Response `200`

The brands available for overlay templates.

- BrandLookup[]
  - `brandId` string, required
  - `brandName` string, required
  - `brandGroup` object, nullable: Preference center brand group of the brand.
    - `id` string, uuid
    - `name` string
    - `templateTopicsRequired` boolean
  - `preferenceTopics` object[], required: Preference center topics of the brand.
    - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `brandGroupId` string, uuid, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `description` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: The `X-API-KEY` header is missing or the API key is not valid.
- `403`: The API key doesn't have the admin role, or the tenant isn't allowed to change this item.
- `429`: The tenant's rate limit is reached. Retry after the time in `x-ratelimit-reset`.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
