# Dump OIBus memory

`POST /api/engine/memory-dump`

Writes a heap snapshot of the OIBus process memory in the data folder.
The whole process is blocked while the snapshot is written, which may disrupt data flows

## Response `200`

Memory dump written successfully

- EngineMemoryDumpDTO — Memory dump result Data Transfer Object. Returned after a heap snapshot has been written in the OIBus data folder.
  - `filename` string, required — The name of the heap snapshot file, written at the root of the OIBus data folder.
