# Search audit log entries

`GET /api/audit`

Searches audit log entries with optional filtering by entity type, entity id, action, and time range.

## Query parameters

## Response `200`

Paginated list of audit log entries

- PageAuditLogDTO — Represents a paginated response containing an array of elements.
  - `content` AuditLogDTO[], required — The content of the page - an array of elements.
    - `id` string, required — The unique identifier of the audit log entry.
    - `entityType` 'certificate' | 'south_connector' | 'south_item' | 'south_item_group' | 'configuration_workflow' | 'north_connector' | 'north_transformer' | 'history_query' | 'history_query_item' | 'history_query_transformer' | 'scan_mode' | 'ip_filter' | 'user' | 'transformer' | 'engine_general' | 'engine_web_server' | 'engine_proxy_server' | 'engine_logging' | 'oianalytics_registration', required — Type representing an audited entity type.
    - `entityId` string, required — The identifier of the entity this audit log entry relates to.
    - `action` 'DELETE' | 'CREATE' | 'UPDATE', required — Type representing an audit action.
    - `previousState` RecordStringUnknown, required — Construct a type with a set of properties K of type T
    - `newState` RecordStringUnknown, required — Construct a type with a set of properties K of type T
    - `entity` AuditEntityInfoDTO, required — Information about the entity an audit log entry relates to, resolved at read time.
      - `exists` boolean, required — Whether the audited entity still exists in the configuration.
      - `name` string, nullable, required — Current name of the entity if it exists, otherwise its last known name from the recorded snapshots.
      - `parentId` string, nullable, required — Identifier of the owning entity (south connector, north connector or history query) for child entities (items, groups, configuration workflows, transformers). `null` otherwise, or when the entity no longer exists.
    - `user` UserInfo, required — Represents the user who performed an action, with a computed display name.
      - `id` string, required — The unique identifier of the user.
      - `friendlyName` string, required — A human-readable display name for the user. "OIAnalytics" for the oianalytics system user, "Admin" for the admin login, or "Firstname Lastname (login)" for regular users.
    - `createdAt` string, required — ISO timestamp of when the change was recorded.
  - `totalElements` number, double, required — The total number of elements across all pages.
  - `size` number, double, required — The size of the page, i.e., the maximum number of elements per page.
  - `number` number, double, required — The number of the current page, starting at 0.
  - `totalPages` number, double, required — The total number of pages (which can be 0 if there are no elements).
