# Index value as-of a past date (Professional+)

`GET /indices/{code}/historical`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api`
- URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api/indices/{code}/historical`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the most recent published index value on or before `date` — answers "what was the index when I signed this contract?". Requires Professional plan or above. The date is clamped to plan history depth.
