# L1 and L2 commodity prices — Essential plan required

`GET /commodities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api`
- URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api/commodities`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns latest price for all tracked L1 raw material and L2 semi-finished commodities (OCC, NBSK, BHKP, LDPE, PP, Primary Aluminium, NBP Gas, Diesel benchmark, BOPP film, FBB, Kraftliner, and 200+ more). **Requires Essential plan or above.** Include `Authorization: Bearer opn_<key>`.

Commodity prices with _plan metadata

  - `_plan` PlanMeta: Appended to every authenticated API response. Shows the caller's current plan limits without a separate call.
    - `api_access` boolean: Whether the plan includes REST API access
    - `index_limit` integer, nullable: Max indices returned. null = unlimited.
    - `plan` 'observer' | 'essential' | 'professional' | 'intelligence'
    - `upgrade_url` string, nullable: Upgrade page URL, null if already on top tier
    - `webhook` boolean: Whether index-move webhooks are enabled (Intelligence only)
